We keep as little data as we can, for as long as we need it to make and deliver your book. This page explains exactly what we hold and why.

Who is responsible

Tomorrow Project is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights below, email hello@tmrrwproject.com.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and sign-in details, so you can return to an unfinished book.

Book data: the answers you give in the wizard, the plans you keep, edit or add, your opening message, and any photographs you upload.

Order data: your name, delivery address, edition, order number and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.

Usage data: anonymous, aggregated information about which plans are kept or swapped, and where people leave the wizard, so we can improve the library.

Why we use it

To create, print and deliver your book, to send order and delivery updates, to remind you about an unfinished draft, and to answer your questions. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.

To improve the experience library and the site, using aggregated data. This is our legitimate interest.

To send occasional emails about new editions and ideas. Customers are added to this list when they order and can unsubscribe from any email in one click.

Who we share it with

Our hosting and database provider, our payment provider, our email delivery provider, and the partner printer that prints and dispatches your book. Printers receive only what they need: the book files and the delivery address.

We never sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years, as tax law requires. Uploaded photographs and book drafts are kept while your account is open so you can reorder, and are deleted on request. Unfinished drafts left untouched for 12 months are deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to marketing, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

We use cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember the book you are working on. With your permission (asked in the UK, EU, EEA and Switzerland), we also use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and improve who sees them. It shares the pages you view, account sign-ups, chats started, checkout steps and purchases (edition, value, currency and order reference) with Meta. We store your choice, when you made it and the notice version on your device. You can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, and the pixel stops immediately.

Children

The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 16. A book can of course be made as a gift for a child by an adult.
